About the vacancy
As a Laser Operator, you will work in a production facility spanning 20,000 m² at a metalworking company with over 25 years of experience, located in Staphorst. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to operate various metal cutting machines. Your experience will be a valuable addition to the team.In the role of Laser Operator, you will get the chance to work with different laser and plasma cutting machines. Depending on your experience, you will start with one of these machines. There is room for further learning and growth, enabling you to work with the other machines over time. Curious about the machinery? At the start of your workday, you will receive instructions from your team leader. Then, based on technical drawings, you will begin cutting the metal plates. Using a crane, you will lift the metal plates into the machine, ensure they are correctly positioned, and set up the machine. After cutting, you will check if everything aligns with the provided drawing. You will then place the plate on a pallet for semi-finished products. This completes the order, and the pallet will be picked up by a colleague.
As a Laser Operator, your main responsibilities will include:
- Working based on technical drawings.
- Setting up laser and/or plasma cutting machines.
- Checking that the plates have been cut correctly.

Specializing in heavy metalwork, they use techniques such as laser cutting, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, shearing, bending, manual welding, robotic welding, longitudinal welding, machining, and component assembly. They are a supplier to fellow metal companies, the automotive industry, and concrete formwork construction. Their products can be found in loading and unloading systems, trailers, concrete and foundation molds, and countless other applications. The company continuously invests in equipment, and Dulasta’s machinery is highly automated.

When you start working as a Laser Operator, you can expect the following:
- A full-time position with a 40-hour workweek;
- A competitive salary ranging from €2,420 to €2,700, depending on experience, excluding a 14% shift allowance;

We ask
The Laser Operator we are looking for has:
- A vocational diploma in Metalworking (MBO);
- Approximately 1 to 2 years of experience as an Operator or Metalworker;
- Knowledge of CNC machines;
- Willingness to work in two shifts: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and until 7:00 PM on Fridays;
- A residence in the area of Staphorst, Meppel, Zwolle, Emmeloord, or Wolvega.
