Your role goes beyond operating machinery. You’ll also guide production staff by explaining what to focus on and ensure that raw materials and supplies are quickly available.
You’ll handle minor technical issues independently and clearly communicate complex problems to a technician or team leader. This is a varied and dynamic position, offering both technical and leadership responsibilities!

Our client is a key player in the food industry, serving retailers, restaurant chains, and wholesalers for over 100 years. With six locations in the Netherlands, two in Poland, and around 2,700 colleagues, you’ll be joining a highly professional and dynamic organization.
At the Zeewolde facility, chicken products are packaged, processed, labeled, and shipped to customers. The production environment is maintained at a temperature of 2°C to ensure product quality. Don’t worry— you will get a warm coat to keep you warm and cozy. Also, when it’s time for a break, the canteen offers free hot soup to warm you up!
We offer
Full-time employment at a well-established company with direct hiring by the employer.
- Opportunity for additional Saturday shifts.
- Two-shift schedule:
- Morning: 06:00-15:00
- Afternoon: 14:00-23:00
- Competitive salary of €2,700 gross (excluding allowances), plus:
- Shift allowance of 12.5%.
- Night shift bonus of 30% (for hours between 5:00 and 21:00).
- Overtime pay:
- First two hours at 25%, subsequent hours at 50%.
- Hours worked before 5:00 AM and after 9:00 PM paid at an additional 30%.
- Saturday shifts (05:00-13:00) with a 15% bonus plus the above allowances.
Additional benefits:
- 8% holiday pay.
- 25 vacation days per year.
- Travel allowance of €0.17 per km (from 10 km up to a maximum of 50 km per day).
- Year-end bonus: 2.15% of your annual salary, provided you’ve worked continuously for at least 2 months in the year.
- Free hot soup served daily!
We ask
- Experience as a Machine Operator (preferably in the food industry).
- A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and precision in your work.
- The ability to solve technical and staffing issues independently.
- Flexibility with working hours (early starts or staying late may be required).
- A quick learner with a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in English or Dutch, enabling clear communication.
- Accommodation near Zeewolde.
- Reliable transportation to commute to work.
- Willingness to work in shift patterns.
- Availability to work on Saturdays (every 3rd Saturday is mandatory).
