Then this offer is waiting for you!!!We are looking for responsible operators for the asphalt plant.The job of an asphalt operator involves the constant supervision of the entire production line. Our operator carries out administrative work (including weighing slips) and then manages the employees and controls the entire process. Production takes place around the clock, even on Saturdays. The company produces asphalt for its own use as well as for customer orders. The operator is responsible for reporting any problems or deviations in the production process to the plant manager. Maintaining contact with management, keeping the production floor clean and tidy and managing recipes.
About the company
Our client has two in-house asphalt plants in Lelystad, which are suitable for both small and large orders . Thanks to its central location, the plant covers a large part of the Dutch road network, which requires constant renewal and maintenance. Our client produces asphalt not only for its own projects, but also for other companies. By using a newly developed recycling drum, a high percentage of recycling is possible and (odour) emissions and energy consumption are kept to a minimum.
We offer
- pay between €15.50 and €20.10 gross per hour depending on experience,
- shift bonuses: 12.5% for 2nd shift, 15% for 3rd shift and 30% for Saturdays
- travel allowance of €0.21 per km
- work in a stable company
- possibility of obtaining a contract directly with the employer after a transitional period
We ask
- communication in Dutch or English at a very high level,
- own accommodation,
- own transport,
- possession of a VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one,
- ability to work as part of a team,
- good communication skills,
- ability to work independently
- technical knowledge is an asset,
- flexibility is also very important
