Frequent asked questions (FAQ)

Can I get a permanent contract?

We strive to ensure everyone can work for a client for as long as possible, with the possibility of a permanent contract and a transfer. Of course, this depends on your own commitment.

When will I receive my salary?

You can choose between weekly or bi-weekly payments. The name says it all: a payment every week or every four weeks. You'll always receive your salary on time.

Do I also receive holiday pay?

Yes, at Dujob you also receive holiday pay. You accrue 8.33% holiday pay based on your hours worked, and your holiday pay is paid out in May.

What about days off and vacation days when I work for Dujob?

You accrue vacation time and holiday hours based on your hours worked. If you work 40 hours a week, you accrue approximately two hours of vacation time per week. If you work less, you accrue vacation time pro rata.

Do I build up a pension if I work for Dujob?

Yes, since January 2022, you accrue pension earlier as a temporary worker than before. After eight weeks of work, you start accruing pension under the StiPP basic plan. After 52 weeks of work, you are automatically transferred to the StiPP plus plan.

Can I view my pay slips and hours worked?

We work with a digital time system where you can enter your worked hours and view your pay slips.

Can a company offer me a contract if I work for that company on a temporary basis?

As a temporary employee at Dujob, you can be taken over by the employer under contract. We have agreements with the client regarding these transfers; the timeframe for your transfer will be determined in consultation.

Can I take a course through Dujob?

Yes, you can take a training course through Dujob to further your professional development. We offer various training programs and courses, including those for obtaining your forklift certificate through Dujob.

Can I grow if I work for Dujob?

Absolutely! A company offers a variety of positions, and we have diverse clients with different opportunities. If you're committed and let us know your ambitions, we can help you grow your career.

What if I no longer like the job or the company?

We believe it's very important to have good communication and that you feel comfortable with us. If you no longer enjoy your position or the company you work for, we'd be happy to talk with you and work with you to find a workplace that truly suits you.

Can I work for Dujob without a diploma?

That's certainly possible, because you don't need a degree for every position. We also believe experience is very important and are happy to see what you can do. We can also help you with things like writing a resume.

Does Dujob also have work-study positions?

Want to work and study at the same time? That's definitely possible. We're happy to help!

Does Dujob also have work for self-employed people or in secondment?

You've come to the right place for both secondment and freelance work. We offer a variety of freelance assignments, but we can also offer you the security of a contract through secondment. In that case, you'll be employed by Dujob. Want to take the plunge as a freelancer, but don't know how? We're happy to help!

I'm looking for work immediately. Can Dujob help me?

Absolutely! We have a variety of positions at different companies. Even if you're looking for a new job right away, Dujob can help you get started quickly. We look beyond just your resume and find a position that's truly a good fit for you.

I'm looking for temporary work. Is that possible at Dujob?

We offer both temporary and long-term work.

I'm looking for evening and/or night work. Is that possible at Dujob?

Absolutely! We have several clients in production and logistics that operate evening and night shifts.

Does Dujob arrange housing for me?

Yes, we can! Contact us for the possibilities.

Does Dujob arrange transportation to my workplace for me?

Yes, we have multiple options for transportation.

Do I need a Dutch Citizen Service Number (BSN)?

Yes, everyone working in the Netherlands needs a BSN number. You can apply for one through the tax authorities.

Should I be able to speak Dutch or English?

Most clients require employees to have a basic command of Dutch or English. For some clients, language proficiency isn't important.

I want to work for Dujob together with my boyfriend/girlfriend, is that possible?

Yes, that's definitely possible! We try to coordinate working hours as much as possible. Unfortunately, that's not always possible.

Can my salary be deposited into my Polish of English bank account?

Yes, that is possible!

What identification does Dujob need from me if I want to work?

To be able to work, we need a valid form of identification. This can be a valid passport or ID card. This allows us to draw up your employment contract. For employment contracts for EU employees, we also need a Citizen Service Number (BSN). This number is stated on the municipal registration certificate, but also on an extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (Bundesregister) or a Dutch driver's license.

Do I get work clothes and work shoes from Dujob?

Yes, we'll provide you with a sweater, T-shirt, and work shoes as standard. If a client needs other materials, we'll discuss the options with you and determine what else is needed.
